Duration: 15 Weeks
Industrial Design Capstone
Individual Project
Focus: Financial Well-Being for Student Athletes
Tools Used: Figma, Premier Pro, CAD Modeling
In this project I was working in tandem with the Huntington Bank UX team based out of Columbus, Ohio.
Topic: Personal Finance & Wellbeing - users seeking clarity, growth, and control
Student athletes are faced with a lack of time and a lack of proper resources to assist them in their collegiate career and beyond. With the emergence of NIL (name, image, and likeness) contracts students now have the ability to capitalize on their name, but many athletes don’t know the best route for them. Huntington Horizons is a business model that will allow athletes to have secure and easy NIL transactions with Huntington exclusive contracts. They will also provide a platform for athletes to connect with financial advisors and be able to have dialogue with many parties at the same time. This platform will give athletes the keys to a better understanding of the benefits of investing and how small transactions can create large long-term dividends. Creating these pathways will not only create endless opportunities for athletes in their collegiate career, but it will set them up for long term success.
